Celtic Festival

Come for the Music… Stay for the Magic

September 29, 30 & October 1, 2023

Youth Arts Program is held on September 29th
Nevada County Fairgrounds

The Grass Valley Celtic Festival is returning September 29, 30 and October 1, 2023, after a short hiatus.  The organizers have invited the Northern California Irish Wolfhound Club members to join them with their wolfhounds.

Featuring five musical stages and six demonstration stages, the festival brings international performers to Nevada County and showcases an ever-increasing cadre of regional talent including musicians, dancers, and performing artists of every kind.

Workshops and sessions and the Youth Arts Program are held throughout the event to provide musicians of every age and caliber an opportunity to learn from each other, perform in front of a live audience, and hone their craft.

The Irish Wolfhounds and members of The Northern California Irish Wolfhound Club are always one of the more popular attractions at the Celtic Festival at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley.

NCIWC MEMBERS ONLY.  You must be a member in good standing to attend. Sign up for three, two or only one day to share your well-behaved wolfhounds with the public.  Dress up (not required) in Celtic clothing.  At the same time, enjoy the Irish and Celtic music, food, dance and events.
Those signed up in advance will have free access to the Festival.  However, this year there must be at least one wolfhound per person. For example, if two people bring one wolfhound, then the second person will need to purchase a ticket at the gate.

23rd Annual Celtic Festival

September 27-29, 2019 Grass Valley, Ca.

The club participates in a Celtic fair in Grass Valley each year. Whether you come in full period costume or modern everyday clothes, join us with your well-mannered wolfhound(s).  We are a very popular attraction for those who attend, with many attending year after year to see the wolfhounds. It is the perfect opportunity to reach out to the public and educate them about our hounds.
