St Patrick's Day 2025

The LUCK of THE IRISH sure came through for the Parade in San Francisco!!  All week the weather was stormy, the worst being on Friday.  

Well, Saturday (Parade Day) it was a bit windy, but the sun was shining as 13 Wolfhounds walked along the parade route.  The applause was deafening!  

As always, our Hounds are a big hit before, during, and after the Parade.  Junko made sure we were ALL decked out in Shamrock Beads, which she and Al brought home from their recent trip to New Orleans.  THANKS, Junko!

Doug Morgan and Yvonne Wong  carried the club banner.  Yvonne is a Pro!  She was waving to the crowd the entire time.  THANKS, Doug and Yvonne.

We did, for the first time ever, have a very long wait before it was our turn.  The top parade official approached me at the end, sincerely apologizing, and promised we'd be in the first 30 next year. Join us !!

The stormy weather returned on Sunday !!!
NOW, very special  kudos to Tom Bourdon, our Parade Chairman.  Tom can no longer join us due to health issues.  He still does ALL the paperwork and pays the Club's entry fee.  THANKS, Tom !
