Upcoming Events

Our club provides a wide range of activities for club members and their hounds.

Many of our club members don't show their hounds. It is important to us that the club offers events of interest for all club members. We have had great success and participation with many of our events.

Celtic Festival

May 03, 2024 - May 05, 2024

Save the date to attend the Grass Valley Celtic Festival May 3 -5, 2024 - great music, food and drink!

Check out their web site:

https://kvmrcelticfestival.org/

We are on the schedule to provide public education once each day on Saturday and Sunday to discuss and answer questions about wolfhounds.  Also new this year, Kevin Steele will set up a lure course demonstration (something small like our fun runs) to run after the discussion. We will bring a few dogs that will run, but we are looking for others. So bring your hounds to run!

Last year we had a huge audience in the bleachers.  Very positive.

As a reminder, if you plan to attend please let me know by April 1st (no fools) at jim.glenneyrie@gmail.com.

You get free entrance, which includes access to great music, food and drink. But you must RSVP with me so that I can put you on the gate list.  Each person who gets in free must be accompanied by a wolfhound.

If you have a trailer or camper, you can have free dry camping on the fairgrounds property, just let me know how much space you need.  OR, I heard a rumor from Allyson Hicks that members can dry camp on her property as well.  She is about 15-20 minutes from the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley. But please schedule that directly with Ally Hicks.
