Each spring NCIWC holds an AKC sanctioned fun match. This is a great time to enjoy puppies and adults dogs, with lots of different activities. Fun times are had with practice lure coursing, grooming demonstrations, handling classes, contests and more. COME ONE, COME ALL -you do not have to enter the conformation judging, just come for fun and adventure with your Irish Wolfhound.

In December of each even-numbered year, we hold a fun match called “The Gathering of the Cu”. In order to give our southern California club members closer access, it is held at Toro Park just outside the city of Salinas. (No Cu planned for December 2022)

Gathering of the Cu

The Gathering of the Cu Sanctioned B Fun Match was hosted by NCIWC this year on December 4, 2021 at Toro Park in Salinas. We are very fortunate to have Melinda Chaney of Dashielle’s Den Irish Wolfhounds as our judge. Gail Hawksworth will judge CGC testing (pre-entry required).
