All-Star Hound Award
The Irish Wolfhound is a very versatile breed. The NCIWC endorses and encourages members to participate in different dog sports that both the owners and their dogs enjoy. The NCIWC would like to recognize those owners and hounds who have displayed outstanding teamwork. Teams who have participated in multiple activities, including conformation, obedience, rally, trick dog, scent work, agility, lure coursing, racing, open field coursing are urged to enter.
Rules
To enter the hound must have points in a minimum of 3 groups and be entered in the NCIWC Specialty
Points are awarded for titles in different sports (groups). The more difficult/highest title in each category is the number of points counted. For example, a dog with Junior and Senior Courser would get 2 points (for Senior Courser), not 1+2=3points, (for Junior +Senior Courser)
In the event of a tie for first place, the dog with points in the most groups would win.
Titles can be accumulated over multiple years.
Photocopies of title certificates and awards to be submitted with entry.
